Engineering of SSG Sahala's heat exchanger for Fimecon Oy

We have a long history in cooperating with Sahala Works on their heat exchanger design. SSG Sahala Oy recently acquired the heat exchanger business from Sahala Works and simultaneously outsourced heat exchanger engineering. Due to good and long-term cooperation, we were able to start negotiations. As a result the heat exchanger engineering was outsourced in its entirety to Fimecon Oy.

This allows us to grow our business and improves our company forward in the way we want. 1.8.2020 Three employees of Sahala Works Oy joined our team. They transferred valuable information and know-how on heat exchanger engineering, as well as a new business area on thermal engineering design of process equipment. With increased resources and a new, strong area of expertise, we will be able to offer our customers even more comprehensive solutions in the future.

The outsourcing of heat exchanger engineering and the transfer of related personnel is a continuum of years of cooperation. Due to the business acquisition of Sahala Works Oy, we will continue to do heat exchanger engineering for SSG Sahala Oy.
Sahala Works Oy focuses its operations on custom machine work and their cooperation with us continues.

In year 2013 founded Fimecon Oy is a company that provides engineering and consulting services to industry. Our customers consist of machine and plant suppliers as well as plants in the production, process and energy industries, for which we offer design and consulting services. Fimecon Oy currently employs 18 people. The offices are located in Kuopio and Varkaus.
